i have recently got hold of a pioneer sa-940 amp from the 90's and it amazing but i can't make the speakers 90's mission speakers stop distorting above 4 on the volume. i listen to it on 0.5 an it comfortable but above 3/4 it distorts and 2 just isn't loud enough for a polite party! just wondered if there is anything i can do? if this is the wrong area to post this im sorry!!! just to add it makes my shure SRH440 sound amazing! i use a dual pin to jack converter to make my ipod/blackberry work off it!
