I am looking for the H120/H140 to pair with my iBasso D12 and I came across this in the classified. Read and found out that it means the capacity is only 15GB and the RAM is half (16MB) of that compared to H120/H140 (32MB). I wish to ask if anyone had owned the H115 previously (and moved on to H120/H140) and noticed any difference in performance? Will it have negative impact if I run RockBox and play lossless files? Thanks.

Best closed headphones I had heard - very flat response, almost no midrange distortion, very easy to drive (good for portable), good soundstage (definately better than K240), good isolation, but...

Overall excellent buds, very good sound quality, especially for their price, the medium set of tips fits exactly in my ears and provides a near perfect seal. Bass is very detailed, but not...

I'll keep this very short. They are very smooth sounding. Treble toned down so not so good for rock but have a magic about them that makes them better than mark 2. I use them with a '89/'90...

First, I should note that I auditioned these both straight out of the box, without any break-in time and then later after 53 hours of break-in. Recent scientific studies have shown definite...

I play ALAC lossless files with iHP-100s players. The player needs to read the hard drive disk more frequently than iHP-120/140 player which may be due to the smaller RAM memory. The performance (e.g. booting up and browsing songs) among the players is quite similar using Rockbox.

So despite the need for more frequent reading of HDD, browsing speed for songs is still pretty much the same as with H120/140? But I wonder if I choose to upgrade the HDD to a bigger capacity, will the decrease in performance starts to surface?

I use an iHP-100 player with a 80GB hard drive disk. The performance is similar than an iHP-120 with the same hard drive disk.
