In terms of sound, I'll pay no more than 20-30$ for the S4. Doubt the S5 is different sound wise. 

M1s are a much better value in both build and sound. 

Klipsch like certain other mainstream brands such as Monster don't give you much value, specially for their entry products. The only seriously good IEMs seen in their line-up are their BAs (C3/X10/X5) but they do tend to overprice those as well. 

I tend to agree with above.

I picked up the S4's for 35 bucks and I feel that was a fair price for them. The refurbed vanillia turbines are a much better deal IMHO. Very consumer freindly sound for 60 bucks shipped. But for rock, the M1's are great. Ive found the meelectronic m9's do quite well also though some may disagree.

Bass impact and texture is near the turbine's. Mids tend to be a little colored and there is some bleed. Highs are very crisp and detailed.

The issue I have with the rock genre on the CC51's is they can be pretty darn shrill. Listening to the wrong, or poorly encoded album can get a little tiresome after a while. But for the price that is really my only complaint. They are a VERY good set of IEM's.

Very different in sound than the Turbines, but still a nice choice. I would describe the Turbines as warm, thumpy, shallow. The CC51 are more cold, detailed, bright.

You could always try the traditional headfi approach and buy one of everything until you are dirt poor....

Can't go wrong with the A151 for such a low price, it's more practical than the CC51 (which is also a great buy at around that price). 

I went from Klipsch S4's to the A151's and I never used my klipsch's again.  literally... I've been trying to give them away.

I love the sound of the 151's, the cable is awesome, microphonics non-existant.
