I know these headphones, especially the SL 150s are overpriced but I was looking for a headphone that balance quality with eye-appeal and it came down to these two. Since the Beats as we all know are absolutely now worth even half of the price, I picked the most reasonable headphones in the rapper business, the Souls, and see how they compared to the V-Modes. I know one is over the ear and one is in ear but the price for both is $200(where I want to spend). 

 

How do these compare? And are there any other ones that look cool and provide better sound than these two? I have yet to research all the corners of the internet....

V-Moda Crossfade M-80

Look just like the LPs (but smaller), but sound worlds better.  Super balanced, portable, and durable.  You can't go wrong.

So the M-80s are even better than the crossfade? The cost is similar so a head-on battle(M80 only $30 more I think)

 

I think the Crossfades would be the best option because on amazon they are $100, but that aside....

Crossfade M-80/Crossfade V-80/Crossfade LP2 would be better choices than the LP(1).
