What's funny is the S4i is being sold for $74.. the X10 is a much better IEM and a extremely good value IMO at its current price. I can't believe the X10i is almost 3x more just because it has the "Apple" control on it.

For the other Brits on here besides myself, amazon.co.uk have them at £99.99, or £132 for the X10i version. I'm tempted to spend the little extra (I got a £100 amazon vouch for xmas) so I can use the line controls when not using the amp. I run android so only the middle button will work, but if it saves me getting it out my pocket to change track I'll be happy :)

Also if you can't be bothered to wait, Richer Sounds have them in store for £139 which is quite reasonable (for instore that is!), may be worth asking them to price match amazon.
Cheers

Is that the normal X10s, or the X10i?

Awesome! I'll get some today!
Edit: just rang richer sounds. They have one set left, now sitting with my name on them :D
How long is the warranty on them? The only thing I'm concerned about is the build quality.

You'd get the standard 1 year with richer or the optional 5 year for an extra £20 I believe.

Thanks mate, now the proud owner of a set. Can't say I'm blown away by them, but the treble and mids are certainly a lot better than the bundled samsung IEMs. Given 50 hours of burn in and coupled with a Fiio E07K they will be amazing. I can tell that I'm going to have to be very careful with them as they do look fragile!
Can't wait to give them a try. This is my first set of IEMs that I have been able too just leave on the flat EQ. Previously I have to spend hours tweaking a rather severe EQ curve to boost the lows and high, whilst severely attenuating the mids around the 1khz range. I will need to fine tune an EQ curve for these but it is going to be very flat which is nice :)

That's my experience. I use the X10s with a 7thG Nano and RSA Shadow and I'm always amazed at the quality of the sound with the X10s. In addition to what you said above, I find the bass to be deep and true sounding.
The X10 with a S3 or Note 2 using Poweramp and a touch of bass boost (no EQ though) is very nice sounding. You should get the 5 year warranty as the rubber jacket at the ear piece tends to split after time. Klipsch will replace them when this happens.

I looked this up - from my understanding its a 2 year warranty if purchased from a authorized dealer - at least here in the states.
Don't know if you meant purchase an extended 5 year warranty through a third party like Amazon..
Just throwing my 2 cents worth to say these headphones are awesome. I've owned my pair for about a year and use them once or twice a fortnight. Every time I use them they impress me with there bass and natural sound. I bought them for the same special price and think they are a bargain.

Sorry for any confusion. Richer sounds (champion of high quality, low budget (to a point) hifi in the uk was selling the x10is. They also offer an optional (which you can add at any time if you have the receipt)5 year guarantee for £20.00.
Nearly got a set from there, but had amazon vouchers from christmas. Should get them tomorrow.

Cool, think I'll pop back in and purchase that :)
I got my X10is (even though I have an android phone) for £131 at Richer Sounds. Even cheaper than Amazon, and obviously without the added postage cost :)
I too use PowerAmp, it's great. How much bass boost do you use? Do you do it via poweramp, or the Fiio amp?
