The Beyers themselves are just as revealing on an iPhone. Guitars, sound a little bit fuzzy compared to the amp. Cymbals even coming from the iPhone have that sweet sizzle that I've only heard from Beyers. Obviously everything sounds overall cleaner on my sound card DAC and Schiit Valhalla but that's to be expected. Sound staging is just as good with either set up. Low are not as clean but just as present with J$ leather earpads. Imaging is kind of messy though, you can tell where everything is but not as well as listening to the headphones on my Valhalla. Overall? The sound is good, good enough to even get away with when commuting (not critical listening). It even offers decently isolation with music on.
