how to dismantle HD555

Hi guys.

unfortunately my hd555 have a crack and i want to glue it before they break.

ive searched but  i havent found so far how to dissasemble this part. i just want to remove the  damaged piece to glue it properly.

here is a pic of the damage:

Mine have a crack in the same point (and have for years). Honestly, I don't know that there is a non-destructive way to open that up to fix it.

same here, my 555s have that exact same stress fracture - have since i got them second hand about 4 years ago -  use them daily for hours, they've been back and forth from work to home, hell i even took them to mexico with me - they've held up and the crack has never widened

 

i've actually never thought about fixing them...

ive had mine for less than 2 years and i am very very careful with my stuff. i hope they hold up like both of yours have smile.gif
