In dilemma of choosing a DAC. Fiio e10 is more expensive compare to Fiio D3. If we ignore the price in term of the quality, which DAC is better when pairing with my m50 headphone?

Best closed headphones I had heard - very flat response, almost no midrange distortion, very easy to drive (good for portable), good soundstage (definately better than K240), good isolation, but...

Overall excellent buds, very good sound quality, especially for their price, the medium set of tips fits exactly in my ears and provides a near perfect seal. Bass is very detailed, but not...

I'll keep this very short. They are very smooth sounding. Treble toned down so not so good for rock but have a magic about them that makes them better than mark 2. I use them with a '89/'90...

First, I should note that I auditioned these both straight out of the box, without any break-in time and then later after 53 hours of break-in. Recent scientific studies have shown definite...

just for convenience alone, E10 should be better. And it’s not like the E10 has been reviewed poorly.
the D3 takes coax or optical input but not USB. but it still needs power. so then you need a second cable for USB power or a wall wart power supply. it makes the small size a little less appealing as you’re gonna had extra cables coming out the thing.
then the D3 still needs the additional amp so you’re still going to need another piece of equipment.
I dunno. doesn’t seem like much of a bargain over the E10 considering how well the E10 has been reviewed.
