Closed Headphone for Gaming and Casual Music

Hi, I'm wondering what is a good headphone for gaming and casual music listening.

I was going to get the ATH-M50, but according to the gaming review topic that they aren't good for gaming.

I am not a competitive FPS player (CoD, Battlefield, etc.), but I do play MOBA (League of Legends) and online co-op games (Borderland, L4D, etc.).

I would also like one that can play music decently - I mainly listen to Rock and Hip Hop/Rap, but not much of Electronica/Techno/Dubstep.

I'm not really sure if there are any headphone that really satisfy this, especially since I don't have a dedicated sound card so I don't think I have much for amp, but suggestions would be nice. Preferably I would set my budget at less than $150, but the cheaper the better. And it has to be a closed headphone since I room with another in college, and my roommate sleeps early (as well as the fact that I got a few noise complaints from neighbors).

Ultrasone HFI580 maybe? it has a pretty fancy s-logic surround sound replication technology... but I dont know whether it would be good for rock for your taste.

cheers,
