Hey,

I guess this has been posted thousands of times, but I'm lazy sorry don't get mad, oh god is this even the right forum for this

Regardless, I need some bass-y headphones, specifically full over the ear headphones.

I like bass. I like to listen to music, and play games sometimes. I like bass. My budget is .. <$25 or something.. I'm poor!

decide my life for me because I can't do it myself.. What do I buy?

ALSO it's black friday! Sales are cool, too!

Thank you for reading,

James

Question.. I currently have a Sennheiser PC350 headset. Sort of expensive, but I assume pretty much anything is better than this? The bass is really not all too high on this. (I guess that's why they call it a gaming headset)

Correct, anything that's been suggested has quite a bit more bass. I'd vote Panasonic HTF600 too, it's at lowest $30 but u should be able to stretch $5 I suppose.

Is onboard sound ok? Do you suggest a dedicated soundcard? If so.. can I get a cheap one?

Which onboard chip / motherboard do you have? The Realtek HD ALC889 chips for example are pretty good. HTF600 even if it's 56 ohm and especially XB500 runs sufficiently ampless.

I understand some of those words! My motherboard is an ASUS P5QC. (which I guess run Realtek ALC1200)

Right now I'm leaning towards the Sennheiser HD 202 II's. They're cheap ($20), and I hear they have good bass. What do you mean 'ampless'?

(also off to bed.. will check in morning if anyone replies)

On that chip I'd say skip changing source for now until you've got a less strict budget perhaps. With ampless I mean they work fine without needing any headphone amp.
