Hd 428 problem

My hd 428 stopped working they sometimes work when you twist the jack but it is scratchy and not clear and then stops after a few seconds

 

Is there any other cases of this problem

hi paulywalnutz,

 

How long have you experienced this? Do you still have your proof-of-purchase? Perhaps you may want to have it checked at the nearest Sennheiser service centre.

if your warranty already expired than maybe consider reterminating the jack or recabling the headphone, it seems like the problem is on the cable... please do correct me if im wrong

i bought them at best buy so i may take them into the geek squad and see what they can do with it

i'm mad that the cable isn't detachable like my 598's so re cabling may be tricky

Return them.

 

Get entirely different headphone.
