Portable amp for use with LP2 and ipod classic

Hey guys, my LP2's are coming tomorrow and I just wanted to know if these would benefit from an amp, and if so, which to get. I was considering the Fiio E11 and an LOD, but I won't be purchasing anything till after the semesters change (more dispersement checks, woohoo!). If the E11 isn't a good choice, or there is something better for under 100 dollars, could you name them with their pros/cons?

I'm not sure if it matters what music I listen to when it comes to amps, as I know little about them. But here goes:

  • post-hardcore rock (bring me the horizon, blessthefall, chiodos)
  • electronic/dubstep (deadmau5, skrillex, the glitch mob)
  • alternative (florence+the machine, the over under, amber pacific)
  • punk rock (rise against, bad religion, antihero)

in short, I'm looking for a sub $100 amp for the genres listed above that has the ability to be used with an iPod classic. Oh, and I'd prefer one that can be charged as opposed to one that requires batteries. I hate buying batteries.

that headphone is very new, I havent seen any reviews about it yet. it suppose to be bass heavy, right? so I'd dare to say a neutral amp, most neutral portable amp I've tried is the mini3. but you are should try them first, they might not need an amp at all.

They are supposed to be very easy driven, 32 ohm and really bassy so neutral sounding amp is probably a good thing but yea I have a feeling these won't perform much better with amp. Hard to recommend something for something we don't know anything about. :) I've been eyeing them myself though so share your feedback once you get them.

This gives a good hint of how bassy this one should be (amazing bass extension if accurate and quite neutral/even mid-highrange):

The dark grey curve is undoubtedly Denon D2000.

Thanks guys, I didn't know they were that low of an impedance. I'm quite new to this, so I don't know much outside of how headphones work.

I'm not sure how well of a review I'll be able to do, but I'll certainly try my best to give feedback once I receive them.

I'll keep that mini3 in mind in the event I feel like it would be of use.
