Fiio e10 with ipad

Has anyone tried the fiio e10 with the ipad and/or the ipad 2? Does it work?

E10 only works with PC via USB.

The ipad works with some sound cards / DACS via usb using the camera connection kit.
Have you actually tried it?

Will an iPad2 with camera connection kit drive a Fiio E17? I presume it will drive any DAC which isn't powered by the USB port....

 

At least the amp section of the E17 is battery-powered. I don't, however, know if this also applies to the DAC.

 

Also, how about the iBasso D12? That could be an interesting combination.

The iPad will power a DAC, it's just a question of whether it will recognize it or not (the uDAC-1 worked, a uDAC-2 didn't IIRC)...
