I've decided to use my now secondary headphone amp in my bedroom, and connect it to my tv.The problem is, my Samsung has no RCA outs, and my headphone amp uses only RCA connects. There is an optical out, but then am I'm stuck needing to buy an additional DAC?,something I was hoping to avoid, I wanted to keep this uncomplicated. My model is Samsung  LN46C630 the amp I'm connecting to is the Graham Slee solo ll

any help would be greatly appreciated

IIRC peeps had run optical/coax out of TVs, DVD players, etc to RCA with the Fiio D3 ^^

I'm in the same boat. Looking for a cheap fix. Everything points towards the D3 right now.

I'm actually kinda shocked that there wouldn't be a couple of RCA outs on this tv, but it wasn't a consideration till  now.I figure this is a great way to avoid the ole 'turn it down" from the wife during late night viewing, and help justify my 4 headphone stable.A win win! scenario if I ever saw one.
