Looking For A Good Headphone To Buy.

Hello, i'm new to the world of audio and i am mostly attracted to over the ear headphones. i use an android cellphone and an equalizer on the device. 

 

for me comfort And durability come before sound itself, to some of you that might sound bad, but i would rather have something comfortable that i could wear for hours on end instead of a headphone that sounds a little better but lacks comfort.

i mostly listen to hip hop and reggae, and i love a well defined bass, i dont want a pounding migrane inducing bass, i just want a bass with definition. 

 

my budget is 300 and i'm thinking about going with sony mdr xb-1000's 

 

i own some 500's and they have great sound. but i think its time to upgrade

Heya,

 

Denon D2000 for you.

 

But try for a D5000 if you can find one used.

 

Or some alternatives: Ultrasone HFI 780, Shure SRH840 or SRH750DJ, Beyer DT770 PRO, and the Panasonic HTF600.
