Yep, had the same impression when I compared my Master-6 to the Conductor.

Stupid question here, I was looking at the various amps on Audio GD website and most of their power specs are in milliwatts. What would like 10,000 milliwatts be in watts...10? Specifically looking at the SA31SE, would that be a good choice?

10,000 milliwatts is 10 watts. He should have used the small m for milli since the big M is associated with mega which means 1 million! :)

FYI, you can literally ask google "10000 milliwats in watts" and it will give you the answer.

^ But how many million hits and will they all agree eek.gifbiggrin.gif

The other thing you want to make sure is if it is 10W into 50Ohms.  10W into 4 or 8 ohms means nothing if you have 50ohm impedance headphones.

0 hits required. It actually interprets the query and spits out a number:

Yep. I've determined that I'm not crazy. The nice folks at Schiit told me I could take a few more days to make up my mind so I've had a chance to try a few more combinations and try a few more things. Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure that the end result is that the Gungnir is going back. Now just trying to figure out if I'm going to keep the Mjolnir.

I basically decided that I absolutely had to have the LCD-3 and LCD-XC after trying them for the first time and rushed out to buy systems for both.

I didn't realize the purchase timing on my Violectric and Schitt stacks were both probably less than ideal with the V800 24/192 coming available and the Ragnarok, Yggdrasil, V220, and V281 all coming available in the next few months.

At the end of the day, this is the amp recommendations thread and I'm happy with both the V200 and Mjolnir, so I guess things turned out alright. Now to figure out if I wanna spring for a V281 or a GS-X mk2.
