Noob Question About Tube Amp for AKG 272HD

Just some audio history about myself first.  New to hifi, got an old Technics SL-B20 turntable and a cheap sony sound system off craigslist a few months ago.  Love the sound of the vinyl! (mostly listen to oldies, swing, big band, more modern music is black keys, mumford and sons, deathcab for cutie, ect)  Ended up getting the AKG K 272 HD as an early christmas present.  Been searching around the internets for a tube amp and just wondering what you guys would recommend?  Something in the $250 price range.  Also is an amp all i would need in the setup?  Turntable to amp to headphones? (just need the amp to run the headphones no speakers)  and all i will be using this amp for is the turntable.  Kinda been eyeballing the Little Dot MK3 amp....  Anyways thanks in advance for your help and all the awesome information on these forums!

The Bellari 540 is a great little amp with lots of power and a sound that is conducive to the tube you use in it. I bought one just to play with and I must say i use it more then some of my more expensive amps. Can be found for around 250.
