The Klipsch Image S4a's I ordered arrived today, and after an hour or two of trying to get a seal through trial and error and research, they sound pretty great, even without burn-in. Unfortunately, I have to wear to them with the wire wrapped around my ear or backwards to get a seal, with the largest tips. Around the ear just isn't comfortable for me, so backwards it is...for now. It's kinda killing the experience of buying higher end IEM's (for me, at least), when I just had to pop in my Sennheiser CX95's and twist, and I had a seal in seconds every time. They fit perfectly, but broke on me unfortunately.
Now, is this because of the design of the monitor itself or the oval design of the tip? I've read that this is a fairly common situation, so does anyone know of any tips that might allow me to wear these the proper way (i.e. right in right ear, left in left, straight down)? The fact that the stereo is reversed kinda bugs me.
I'm using these primarily to play music through my phone, so I'd even settle for an app that will reverse the stereo. Any ideas?
