Just got the S4A - question about tips

The Klipsch Image S4a's I ordered arrived today, and after an hour or two of trying to get a seal through trial and error and research, they sound pretty great, even without burn-in. Unfortunately, I have to wear to them with the wire wrapped around my ear or backwards to get a seal, with the largest tips. Around the ear just isn't comfortable for me, so backwards it is...for now. It's kinda killing the experience of buying higher end IEM's (for me, at least), when I just had to pop in my Sennheiser CX95's and twist, and I had a seal in seconds every time. They fit perfectly, but broke on me unfortunately.

Now, is this because of the design of the monitor itself or the oval design of the tip? I've read that this is a fairly common situation, so does anyone know of any tips that might allow me to wear these the proper way (i.e. right in right ear, left in left, straight down)? The fact that the stereo is reversed kinda bugs me.

I'm using these primarily to play music through my phone, so I'd even settle for an app that will reverse the stereo. Any ideas?

Anyone? I'd love to keep these things, but I'd like to be able to wear them the standard way (i.e. not reversed or upside down). Having the left earbud in my right ear and the right in my left doesn't exactly feel super comfortable either. Are there any tips that will allow me to do this?

Just want to mention that the Klipsch logo on the earpiece should be facing backward when wearing them straight down, in case that's why you are not getting a good seal.

Make sure the tips aren't twisted about, the tips should be adjusted such that the faint line on the tips match the line on the S4A's nozzle, FWIW i found my S4s to provide one of the best fits when i had mine.... IIRC there was quite a few complaining about the size of the tips during the FOTM period.

Each headphone is marked twice with an L or R, but like i said, i have to wear them reversed (klipsch logo facing forward) or over the ear to get a good seal, neither of which feels too comfortable or is ideal for me....was just wondering if anyone who has experienced this has found tips that allow them to be worn straight down.

I came across this video, which actually allowed me to get a good seal with my old Sennheiser CX95 tips.

I thought I had a good seal before when wearing them reversed, but this has really opened the sound of these things up for me. Still some simbilance, but not what it was before and bass seems tighter. And I feel like sound is coming from everywhere, as if the soundstage got larger...or maybe I'm just imagining things from being excited from actually getting a comfortable fit.

It makes them stick out of my ears a bit more than usual, and I'm not sure the two tips will stay locked together, so I'm going to pick up a pack of Sony hybrid tips, since some have said those work. Still, now that there's hope, I think I'm going to hold onto these now instead of returning them. :)
