What Headphones should I get? WESC? SkullCandy? Beats? Grados?

I need new headphones, but I'm not an expert and I can't decide which ones I should get.

I want some with good sound quality and good looking. But I don't want to spend too much.

If you could name me a few good headphones and explain why. Thank you very much.

  • What's your budget?
  • What's your favorite genre?
  • What are you plugging them into?
  • Do you need them to be portable?
  • Do you need noise isolation?

Stay away from SkullCandy and Beats, as a general rule they're overpriced for the sound quality they offer but if you love their look and really don't care or can't hear difference in sound quality or for that matter need it to commute, go for it (noise cancelling Beats maybe?). Grados have better bang per buck sound quality wise but they leak sound so it's probably not good to be commuting with them.

so I was thinking WeSC, but I can't decide between the BASS or the BONGO. I'm maybe thinking BASS but I'm not sure.
