I have an ipod touch, and beats by dre. pros. I've noticed that the headphones dont sound nearly as good through my ipod as my computer, so i want to buy a headphone amp, The ones i am looking at is the Fiio E6, the Fiio E11, and the electric avenues pocket amp 2 version 2. Which one would you guys recommend for my setup, or is there a different one you would recomend?

I understand that, i also know that they're not considered true audiophile headphones and that i'm paying a lot for the name, but i've still played that through a desktop amp and it makes them sound a whole lot better than when i play them through my ipod, so i wanted to know which would be the best?

You will need a LOD and I would reccomend the e11. It will allow better upgrades than the e6 can offer. I personally would try and sell the beats and buy a better headphone/earphone and then look at an amp at a later date. I would also make sure you are using a higher bitrate such as 320kb/s or apple loseless.

I use apple lossless bitrate when i can, but the reason i use beats is because they're the only headphones i could find that sound good but also are good looking. I use them to warm up before my basketball games and i use at school sometimes so the disign is important. I'm aware that i could probably find a pair of $200 headphones that sound better. If you knew any good headphones that looked good though would consider selling the beats?

I dont think it is about the deign. I think a lot of people have them because it is the thing to have and everyone recognizes  them. I just think they sound pretty bad and are very overpriced. If people want them for the fad then that is fine but they are far from audio quality. Have you thought about customs?

IEMs are the best for portability and I find them to be less noticeable than headphones. IE80, FX700, GR07 would be some good IEMs to check out.
