Need Recommendation: replacing Denon 1001's, budget <=$300, listening at work ~8hrs day

My Denon 1001's left side stopped working so now I'm looking to replace them with another closed-over-ear pair with similar or better sound.

I listen to them mostly at work in a fairly quiet (IT) environment.  I think I've narrowed down to Ultrasone 750's but I'm open to suggestions.

My budget is <=$300.

Why dont you just jump to the AHD2000's? If you like that sound signature it only gets better when you go up.

And another plus, they are amazingly comfortable to have on. I totally forget im wearing them until I try to leave my desk and end up pulling the cord and amp to the floor.

Denon, guess you like bass.

Beyerdynamic DT-770 Pro 80-Ohm cans.

Also spend about $75-$100 for a headphone amplifier.
