PCBs have been ordered & about 26 should be available for cost + shipping late Dec 2011 / early Jan 2012.

For now let's have a 2/person limit to assure those that want 'em get 'em.

 

The boards are due to be shipped to me the 2nd week of Dec & I'll make them available after building one out...  Although these are the very same PCBs as the last GB & thus proven, I'm a careful guy & would also be making a BoM w/currently available parts nos.

You may post an interest reply to this thread if you are very sure you'll go through with the purchase, again to assure those that really want & will really build 'em get 'em.  Will accept instant (non-CC) paypal payments for my cost/board ($10 USD) + all shipping costs & will ship to confirmed addresses.   

 

If you haven't built a CTH know that it's a solid, proven design intended for intermediate+ builders with a couple of successful builds under their belts.  We say this because it's 150+ through-hole parts in a 3"x5" space, its no fun tracking down build errors & the only support is through the DIY community.  Print out the scale PDF of the prior rev's silkscreen to have a clearer idea of this: http://www.cavalliaudio.com/diy/cth/main.php?page=instructions/assembly

OK  This batch of PCBs is allocated (may do another batch in 3 -> 6 months if interest warrants it:

When the time comes I'll do paypal invoices/requests, $10/PCB plus shipping - US: Priority flat-rate envelope + delivery conf, International: First Class Int'l.  Either looks to be about $6-7 USD per package.

 

12/5 Update:  The PCBs are in & my parts orders placed for my BoM-proofing build out.  Hopefully the parts will arrive by this weekend & I may be able to get it built/confirmed good by Monday Dec 12th or thereabouts.   Then get paypal requests out & get shipping 'em.

12/7 Update: Both Mullet & myself plan to build the 1st CTHs for this batch (hopefully) this weekend.   This will proof the minor BoM revisions - a couple for parts-sourcing & a couple as minor improvements.  After this is done I'll get to the paypal bit & get shipping. 

BTW we'll have a revised BoM XLS & a shared Mouser BoM for this.  The parts orders totals for a std CTH are looking to be around $130 or so + shipping - that's real total (case, A/C adapter, jacks, etc).  Count on at least 5hrs build time, more if you are as careful as you should be building this little amp:)

 

12/11 Update: My CTH buildup is working fine.  Having run it for about 3 hrs using both 12.6v & 6.3v tubes, think we can say the new BoM + this rev PCB are proofed.

Will post a couple pics & notes in the CTH Rev A thread & send out requests for payments so some boards can go out this week.  Please assure your registered/confirmed PayPal address is complete & correct (especially non-US payers - must have your complete address, formatted as it should appear on the shipping label - let me know any corrections in your reply).

Payment request PMs have just been sent out.

 

Payments are coming in (thanks!) & associated PCB(s) should ship within a day or two.  You may want to consider placing your parts orders.

 

12/13:  Updated spreadsheet above - 11 Small Priority Flatrate boxes are now in hands of USPS.  Plan to get the balance of paid PCBs out tomorrow (Wed) or latest Thurs.

 

12/14:   All paid PCBs are now sent & everyone should have tracking #s to confirm/track their packages.  Last update until next batch of PCBs (post here if you are interested), well unless/until kytuphicanh pays:)

Be sure not to miss posts in the CTH Rev A thread e.g. Semitec CRD sub option (which once again not something to loose sleep over:)

 

12/28:  Will be shipping one PCB each to Pingfloid & Scy (they've paid for those originally held for kytuphicanh, their requests came in before mmcaleer's).

So now there are no spare PCBs (unless someone w/2 lets one go). 

Again it's possible we'll do another batch in 4->6 months or so depending on how these builds go & the interest level in PCBs between now & then.

Okey, dokey.   I'll update that little spreadsheet once in while w/adjustments.

BTW I don't mind if all the PCBs aren't spoken for by year-end, I'd just raise the 2 PCB/per-person limit, see what happens then sit on the rest until they go.  That's why I choose getting a batch made over waiting out a GB for 25+ boards.
