Ordered yesterday, number 641, I'm so excited to finally have a new piece of audio. Finally my HD600 will be properly amped dt880smile.png

The Asgard matches perfectly with the HD600. A combo that's hard to beat for the money. Enjoy your new toy!

I'm listening to it for the first time right now. Not critically just casually, but hmmm it doesn't get as loud as I thought it would with the HD600. I have the volume knob maxed out and to my ear it sounds like the HD600 can go louder, like it has more to give. Now this is right out the box and the Asgard is stone cold which we know is an abnormality. I'll wait a few days for proper burn in before I begin to critique it. One thing that peeved me off was that it did not come with a RCA to mini cable even though in the manual it mentions it in the description of the ports on the amp. I had to get a cheap radioshack one until my Zu Cable comes.

I stand corrected.. As this bad boy keeps heating up it keeps sounding better and better and I have to keep turning the volume down.. IT'S ALIVE!!!! L3000.gif

stupid me, the reason I have the volume maxed out on the amp and I felt it could go louder was because it could. I had the volume turned down on my laptop lmao. The volume wasn't even at 30% smh. These things crank. Now I have maxed out the volume on my laptop, the amp is only about 30-40% volume and it sounds phenomenal!
