Will Ship To: USA

This is for a pair of Meelectronics HT-21 which I made custom wooden earcups for.  This was my first wooden cup experience.  After researching the wooden T50RP mods for wooden cups, I figured it couldn't hurt to try it on a pair of cheap phones I already had to see how it would look and sound.  To my amazement, the sound is soo much better.  I would add more o's to soooo, but I need to keep it short.  The stock HT-21 sound wonderful in the mids/highs but they lacked bass.  These now sound almost exactly like the Sennheiser HD-555 which is pretty amazing for such a small set.  I would say that I actually like these better than those now though.  Even modded, the HD-555 doesn't touch the bass these things have now.  Well I might be exaggerating just a little bit but these are excellent all around headphones.  For the price I am asking, you can't go wrong considering they are almost fully modded.  I used a 26 Awg or 24 Awg silver teflon wire on them and a 3.5mm end plug.  I used white wood for the wood species as well as acoustic foam for sealing them tight to the cups.  They aren't exactly as portable as they once were because you can't fold them inwards.  The headband is very fragile so you need to take care when handling these.  The cups were too big to fit into the stock headband bracket, so I took them off and drilled a hole at the top of the cups and filled it with hot glue.  It works just fine, but you need to be careful.  These would make excellent headphones for a laptop or mp3 player.  Please ask any questions!

Thanks for all the comments, but I am shocked no one has offered me anything yet.  I spent longer on these than I have almost any other mod I have done.  Making the cups wasn't easy, hollowing them out takes forever.  Also, these are amazing portable headphones.  They sound like the HD-555 which is amazing.  I just listened to an HD song today with them and was shocked at how nice they sound.  Putting them in wooden cups is fantastic.  I bet if I made the HD-555 into wooden cups they would be awesome as well.  But seriously guys no one is interested in them?  Is it because the electrical tape was falling off?  I only put that there to cover up the hot glue.  Either way I have a friend who said his friend might be interested in them so they should be gone soon.  But I am shocked to have 4 comments and no offers especially at my price with a full re-cable and everything.  Thanks!
