iPhone 4 vs WhipMod / iMod

Hey guys.

 

Recently, I've been looking into changing my iPhone 4 for something else as my portable audio source. 32GB really is not enough for me, and I'd love the ability to have Rockbox with sufficient space, so I could carry around my main music library (FLAC). 

 

However, I was wondering - would say a WhipMod or an iMod be a decent upgrade soundwise, or is the iPhone 4 equal?

 

I'm running with the JH16's and a Pico Slim at the moment.

Shoot....if I had all that I'd just get a CLAS.  Even better :)

I've given it some thought, but I think a third box to carry around might be a dealbreaker for me.
