What headphones should i get?

Hi. My PC350's just broke and i need new headphones. I tried AKG K271 MK2 headphones and there was too little bass and Beyerdynamic DT770 pro 80ohms sound werent as bright as PC350's so i didnt like 770's either.. I also tried new PC360 but i dont think there was almost any difference to PC350 so dont want those either :P. So is here any people who have PC350 and maybe some Sennheiser HD headphones? How those sound? What headphones would have good bass or better than PC350 but not as "dark" sound as DT770? I would also get soundcard, maybe Xonar DG. What headphones would be good? Sorry for my bad english and thanks you!

What's your budget? I liked the Senn HD800 when I auditioned them, but it may or may not be within your range. The bass is clear and crisp, and the treble is less shrill than bright-sounding headphone like K701.

My budget for headphones is around 200 euros so HD 800 is way too expensive headphones. :/

How about HD 598? 558? Have you tried them or can you even compare them to PC350? Im worried about too weak bass..

My Favorite headphones are my Beyerdynamic (closed) DT-770 Pro 250-Ohm cans.

My Sennheiser HD-558s are a close second, bass is just fine for me, I did remove the black rubber tape.

The HD-558 should have a better sound then then PC350.

The HD-558 & HD-598 share the same driver.

Creative Labs is just about the release a new sound card the Recon3D (any day now?),

comes with a headphone amp rated up to 600-Ohms.

Price is somewhere between $100-$133.

I already spent 40 euros for Xonar DG so i dont think i can spend about 100 euros for another card and then get headphones too :/.

I just tried DT770 PRO's with Xonar DG and it still sounds worse than PC350's for me.. weird. Is there any closed headphones which are similar sounding and maybe more powerful bass than PC350 but better quality? Choosing headphones is really hard :D.

Tried the DT-770 Pro 80-Ohm or DT-770 Pro 250-Ohm?

Did you set the DGs headphone amplifier to the highest gain setting?

The Fiio E6 might improve the sound quality of the DT-770 Pros.

DT770 PRO 80 ohm and yes highest gain setting was on. I actually tried to order FiiO E6 from Amazon and from Play.com but they doesnt unfortunately ship them to the country where i live.

Maybe i have just used PC350 for so long time that any other headphones sounds bad.. maybe :/. I listen a lot of music and theres a lot of people who has said to me PC350 is trash and i really should get better headphones so i thought that i will get "good" headphones and amp (which was Xenor DG for me) so i can really enjoy my music. Then i tried DT770 PRO 80 ohms and HD 555 and for my surprise i found them worse than my PC350.. i dont really know why.. maybe its just me :(.
