Was going trough ytube and stumbled on Sven Vath, he's is techno dinosaur producer and performer. Here is a clip where you can feel the techno "sweat" :)

Sasha, Arman Van Buren, Tiesto are all up there too.  I also really enjoy Richard Humpty Vission, lays down some awesome mixes.  Skrillex? Pushing play on a MacBook isn't DJ'ing.

I can't think of him, without also thinking of Bad Boy Bill.

Back in the days I was listening to Detroit Techno, and among others Carl Cox had a great album called "At the end of the cliche". It was labeled as house all right, but it had lots and lots of D.Techno flavor, I enjoyed it and liked the style of Cox back in the days.

What is with Detroit Techno these days, is there anything worth of listen, does it still exist or is it all minimal and tech ?

X2 on Carl Cox. I've seen him DJ live back in the day. Phenomenal. My second vote for a Techno Dj would be Danny Tenaglia. For a good example of his work check out...Global Underground 10: Danny Tenaglia In Athens.

I've saw Daft Punk live  back in 1997. Way better than their albums. Same for the Chemical Brothers live in 1999 (Brixton Academy)  and Orbital live.

Carl cox is a pioneer of house and techno...

He is like the english version of Kevin Saunderson..

Saunderson,Derrick May and Atkins are the founders of Detroit Techno..

Thanks for the recommendations, I will check these out.

Was on Chemical Brothers live (2009) and was a little sceptical about some latest hits, don't like them too much, but they trow them at start of the concert and then ride began. They played even some songs even from "In Dust we Trust", had unbelievable time with my wife. One thing that I've noticed, there were a lot of "younger" population and they did know just few hits and that is all, they missed a lot.

True, those two go kind of hand in hand.  House Connection cd's were pheonominal, however, I enjoy Richard's style better.  Behind the Desks Live is my favorite solo by BBB.

Oakenfold is a master. I'm a huge Oakenfold fan. Never got too into the other 2, to be honest. Daft Punk gets my first spot because Alive 2007 is absolutely my favorite live performance ever. Just listening to it has easily bested most of the actual shows I've been to see. Watching it on video just makes it that much better. The way those guys work together is amazing.

Another very good CD.  Not a huge fan of Tenaglia, but that album was very good.  You ever hear GU:12 Dave Seaman In Buenos Aires?  Probably my favorite album of the GU series (disc 2 in particular)

Don't know if anyone remember's the old BBC mix, but Oakenfold released an updated GOA mix this year.  Definately worth checking out.  Its amazing to me how far ahead of their time guys like Oakenfold and Sven Vath were.
