Lately I have found I no longer listen to headphones so I have decided to part with most of my collection. This listing is for a Sony MDR-CD3000 dynamic closed headphone in very good condition. As the CD3000 is well known to most everyone here on Head-Fi, I will spare you the superlatives and focus on the specifics of this particular pair.
Apart from some wear to the headband and suspender, the CD300 is in excellent condition with no dings or scratches on the driver housings. The ear pads are new with no rips, tears or cracking. The storage case is in immaculate, near-mint condition.
If sold at the asking price, track-able, insured USPS shipping and PayPal fees are included for buyers in the continental US. For buyers outside the continental US, the difference in shipping costs will be added. If sold below the asking price, track-able, insured USPS shipping and PayPal fees are not included for all buyers. PayPal fees are 3% for US buyers and 4% for non US buyers according to PayPal's published rates. PayPal eCheck preferred.
I currently have no Head-Fi feedback but I have extensive eBay feedback and some Audiogon feedback. My eBay user name is rastek_research and my Audiogon user name is Rastek.
Please PM with any questions, requests for additional pics, my phone number or any offers. Local pickup is available, however cash upon delivery would be preferred, please PM for my home address if picking up locally.
I am also selling a Sony MDR-R10 and the amplifier I have used to drive it which is a David Berning prototype MacroZotl 3W Class A speaker/headphone tube amp with a tube switching power supply. David tells me there is only one of these amps in existence as he decided not to place the MacroZotl into production. Also for sale is an EarMax Anniversary headphone amp and a NOS, NIB matched quartet of Western Electric 300B filamentary triode vacuum tubes.:.
