Portable amp with dac for many headphone.

Thread Starter

Hello,

i am interested in buying a portable amp dac to use with my computer.
I usually use uncompressed files with resolutions up to 96khz, so I'm interested in a good quality DAC and an amp powerful enough.
My headphone are Bose AE2, Sennhesier hd448/hd800, Sony CD3000 and Grado HP2, so obviously, so i am interested in an amp that has a good energy and sound defined and refined.
I have read many threads and i have made a useful idea, I found these:

Ray Samuel Predator
IQube-v2
Pico-Headamp

These amplifiers have a similar price, now I wonder, a product like "iBasso d6" that costs much less,
can 'compete with these more' noble and expensive amplifiers,
or the price difference is justified by a higher quality product and sonic construction.
I'd like to buy a product that over time will give me the greatest value and that is versatile and reliable.
Other suggestions are welcome,

Sal.

The pico dac/amp is an amazing product as is the rsa predator. The pico would probably be my choice if I needed a dac/amp right now. I really enjoyed the one I had.

i will recommend the RSA predator.

although the burn=in time is insane.
