LCD3 Kirkland Bath Tissue Edition, a.k.a. ToiletPants - Page 13

What is wrong with guys liking female vocal? I listen to a lot of female vocals too. Girls' voice are sweet rolleyes.gif

I guess Googleli's taste should be fairly similar to mine. Good for me, since I will have someone to ask in the future, when I save up enough dough to get a Stax rig.

I don't have a problem with people not listening to female vocal, and I don't have a problem with gay people, but I am not gay, and I have a problem being called gay just because I like female vocal, and I take that as a very offensive statement. I don't like electropop or the plastic figures in Space Channel Five, but I won't call people listening to them gay. rolleyes.gif Actually if you have a bit of sense, wouldn't some guy listening to male vocal exclusively more likely to be gay than one listening to female vocal? rolleyes.gif

And what is the problem if female vocal isn't a genre at all but I like listening to it? You guys (electropop and rhythmdevil) are pretty pathetic.

I prefer the female violin voice.

Uh oh!  Back in the days when my prostate was still functional I listened to a lot of Boy George and Village People. But wait, I also listened to Grace Jones and Sinead O'Conner, so I must be OK!

Gotta love this thread!

It's good to know I'm not the only one who misses Freddie Mercury!

Anyone else tried this with the LCD-2's? Might want to talk my buddy over into lending them again for some modding, heh.

The r2s don't need it. I haven't tried on r1s.

Lol, have you heard Girls Generation compared to Tori Amos, Karen Carpenter and Sarah Mclachlan?  This is why 'female vocals' are NOT a genre.  tongue_smile.gif

Awesome!  Why aren't you in the Kirosia threads btw?  You disappoint me....

Why not, I compare Kate Bush, Alicia Keys and Celion Dion to Girls Generation and AKB48 all the time. biggrin.gif

Cool.  I wonder how the square waves and impulse change with this.

does anyone find it ironic that the latest greatest headphone(save for the 009) benefits from being belted with....... stuff you uh,well you know. you would think if this was indeed as good as it was chalked up to be audeze would have applied something more tasteful to garner this sound improvement. straight from the factory. i score this one as many a stepping stone on the path to the perfect headphone. i am betting given this very mod, headphones are yet to improve even more. this is known as evolution. if only audeze had known they could have sold them for $2,500 by scouring costco shelves.

Headphones definitely have a lot of room for improvement.  The LCD-3 is in no way the end of the road  despite it's strengths.  There's lots of ways it could be improved even with the TP.
