I think i've found the problem, the card was not properly drive because of the tip of metal (don't know how name that thing) that prevents to push it completely , I had to twist it.

After doing that the first two boot of windows get 1 bluescreen and 1 total freeze winthout bluescreen.
The third boot work but i don't think is very stable..

I have a question, in this pannel: http://www.passmark.com/images/forumimages/Sound-Output-Sample-Rate-Setting.png its very important to change to 24 bits 96khz or that thing is just for sound in shared mode (don't know what is it) ?

In the past when i have put it to 192khz my sound sizzles and my computer lag so i have set it back to default.

Do you have any music that is recorded at 24bit & 96khz? If you do, it's digital only likely, like something from HDtracks.com? If you have that, sure. If you just have CD/DVD, then there's no reason to put it beyond 48khz.

Very best,

Ok thanks :p

And for the "24 bits" if i have only cd/dvd i put it back to 16 bits (in case of the sound of movie/games is in 24bits but not 96khz)?

I've see some people say the hd 598 is better than the hd 650 for games and movies? that true?

And which one has greater isolation from outside sound?

In terms of isolation - neither - they're fully open cans.

I find the soundstage to be superior on the HD650 but the HD598's reputation came about

because it is much easier to drive off a soundcard or out of a TV headphone jack

~ the HD598 is going to sound better if you don't have the amping hardware biggrin.gif
