Recommend me a solid state phono amp

Hello, I'm looking for a good amp to pair with a Technics 1200 mkII I have for recording into an RME ADI DS. I'm looking for something that does not color the signal.

-Thanks

Are you asking about a phono pre-amp/stage or an amp to power headphones/speakers?

If you specify a budget range that will help people make recommendations - phono stages range in price from less than a hundred to several thousand pounds/dollars. You may also want to post this question in the dedicated source components forum.

Personally, I've gone for a Cambridge Audio Azure 640p - they're well regarded and considered good value for money. It cost me £100.

I wasnt sure what was the right forum to ask.

Any who I have right now a Rega Fono MC and its "OK". I was looking for something better. Clearer, more transparent. Main purpose is to record not to "listen".

I'm not too clear if Im looking for a stage or preamp. I though they where all phono preamps

-Thanks
