help with denon ah-d1100

Thread Starter

hey i just got my denon ah-d1100 today and found something "extra ordinary"

before ordering online i read many reviews about 1100 and thought it'll be my thing.

i really love bass and read this is good for it.

now the thing is, the left can volume is "lesser" than the right one.

i'm guessing it's because of the heavy bass coming from the right...

BUT would it make "this much" of a difference between the left and right phones?

at the same time, the high and mid in the right one has more volume than the left

or another thing i felt is left is muffled with the high and mid while right is more clear

the very+extra bass is what surprised be a lot though. it really feels like the right is powering through the left

what should i do.

i'm wondering if this is a defect in itself and maybe return it or

should i let it burn and see if it'll calm down hoping left and right phone will equal out or smoothen things better

any insights would be helpful.

thanks so much in advance.

So, it's happening with all tracks you listen too?

Have you listened to the phones using a different source?
