Philadelpia,New Jersey and Deleware January 28 2012 Mini Meet

Baka 1969 and Frank I will hold their 2nd annual mini meet on January 28th at my home again. I can handle 20 headfliers and last year was a success. I have invited Fang and Skylab again to my meet this year. Their will be some  great gear again and all the flagships including the LCD3 and HE500 and HD800 and T1 will be represented. Both Ross and I are looking forward to this meet again. Please shoot a PM if you will be attending. The meet is in Sewell NJ 08080. The area is 15 miles from South Philly and 30 miles from Deleware and less than 2 hours from the tip of NJ. All NY and North Jersey people as well as PA,Deleware and Maryland friends. Leesure has arranged with Kingwa a NB 10.1 for our meet. Exciting new product from Audio GD. Fang has promised more goodies for our meet. Steve Eddy has graciously offered to send his Qcables designed for the LCD and HiFiman headphones.

My wife sister which is her identical twin was diagnosed in December with Stage 4 Brain Cancer. She is not doing well. She lives in Rochester which is a six hour drive from here and we are trying to deal with this serious health issue.. My wife needs to be there to help her on 1/27. I see no alternative but to cancel the meet as we have to be up there to help out. I am sorry for the inconvenience and I am  disappointed but she not well enough now that we do not know how the outcome will be. Thanks you and I am truly sorry.  I have sent PM to everyone.

Great Lee. Fang is also sending me a HE500 with the new pads and cable this week which I will be reviewing also. Hope Vinnie comes through would love to hear his stuff. Send him an invite. Fang asked for the date who knows he may show up also and Skylab may also come.

I will be bringing the balanced Isabellina HPA from Vinnie either way, but it would be very interesting to see if his $1500 amp-only can hold its own against his $3500 Isabelina DAC/Amp.  Vinnie tells me it trulu is the same amp section just without the DAC.  If it sounds as good, I think he might have a break-out product. It's a battery-powered, tube buffered, high current Solid State, BALANCED output amp with 2 inputs for $1,500...and $1,000 if you go single ended.

 

 

 

The single ended sounds interesting. Hope you get it but yours would also be nice to listen to also.

also I would be very interested in comparing the DAC section of the HDP to the Bifrost so I guess could bring that, my recabled HD650s and a pure i20 for people's ipods. I'll have a better idea of whether or not I can go around mid-december.
