I am currently driving my Pro 900 with the PA2V2 with my Clip+ (Rockboxed) as my source. I first bought the Clip+ and Rockboxed it a year ago but got into some trouble with the input jack. Every time I moved it there would be this annoying static and often the channel would fall out. I've read elsewhere online that I may have to have the input jack soldered.
I am curious as to whether soldering the input jack would be a permanent fix (assuming I take decent care of the player) and, if I do go into an electronics repair store, if I should bring in some list of instructions or a diagram of some sort. Any alternative route (perhaps buying a new player?) is also welcomed but I'd really like to keep the Clip+ considering the flat FR and the relatively clean sound.
Thanks for your help! :)
