Hey guys, I recently got some Allen & Heath XD-53s, which are awesome. I got them for DJing, so they run fine when I use them through my mixer or my receiver since both have headphone amps built in, but this makes them sound very weak through my macbook pro.
I think I'll have to get a portable amp since Ii'll be traveling with them some over the holidays and working on some music stuff through my macbook pro.
So what would you guys recommend? I'm trying to spend a minimal amount on this; just something to get me by for the holidays and during other travels. Price preferred would be $30-$40.
The drivers on the XD53s are 53, so they are pretty hardcore if that changes suggestions.
