OMG I am almost done building the first KSC 35 mod!!! I am simply replacing the lil' speakers of a ratshack Optimus Nova 71 (very comfortable, but not-as-good-sounding-as-ksc35- closed headphones that cost me 12 bucks) It took quite a lot of ripping and tearing to get the lil speakers out of the nova, but i did it.... just make sure the little screen is attachead to the comfy pleather earpads...(i made the mistake of leaving one on by accident, but fixed it later) These will be very big...but probabally the best souding midsize can for under 20 bucks, including parts. (seriously...you can do this with almost any cheap closed headhone) I am still working on this, but will fill y'all in later.

hmm, the actual headphone speakers are further away from my ear than the regular ksc-35s. I have to turn them really loud for them to sound good....but when they are loud it sounds like a live concert.

It's even more fun to mod the KSC-50's in to new headphones (cause their cheaper). I'm on my second configuration, the first of which is detailed in another thread. My new mod involves popping the drivers for the KSC-50 in to the earclips of a Continental Airlines headphone. I liked the clip on these headphones, and they cost all of 2 bucks. So, for the cost of about 17 bucks, I've got a clip that fits as well and sounds as good at the 35, at a better price.

P.S. Why just moderators? Do we all not have ears?
