You probably have to buy an aftermarket amp or something.

In all seriousness, I reckon Razer make pretty good products.  I'm using a Razer mouse and mouse mat right now actually.  I haven't tried any of their headphones but I doubt they would have such a marketing campaign for a product they didn't believe was good.

You plug the jacks in the orifaces of your head and the headphone in the computer.

I'm pretty sure the HT|Omega Claro Halo XT daughter card is one of the only sound cards capable of running these things. That and the mothership. I kind of want these actually. They look good. I don't expect them to sound good but for gaming it can't be that bad...

The regular Creative Titanium (non-HD) can handle surround analogue connections.

yea i was thinking the same, my old school creative cards have at least 3 analog connections - not sure where the other two would magically surface from :)

Cause they listen a sound on a room with meters of space between the speakers and their ears, it's a natural sounding plenty of space sensations.

How the hell you can fix it with 5.1 drivers on a headphone with milimeters (maybe centimeters) to your ear? All drivers sounding at time mix all the sounds and get a crappy effect...

All the normal surround outputs on your computers sound output? Where else would they possible go besides the normal spot?

One output is left/right, another is rear left/rear right, then a side left/ side right, the last output is center/sub. And the 5th connection is microphone in. Its all normal stuff that every even close to decent motherboard for the last 5 or more years has come with.

it might not even be good for gaming as i can imagine some crazy software or resource consumption resulting in fps drops or something.

(but as a lefty i m grateful that razer provided a few good symmetrical mice for years now. )

Don't forget the few LH mice they've made wink.gif. (although I'm not a lefty).

Some good products, although usually mediocre build quality.  Many people rank the razer deathadder as one of the best gaming mice (for the price) as far as an excellent sensor with little problems (at least the first one did).  Build quality is just ok though.  Most of the rubberized stuff on the top wore off of mine and the sides are the glossy plastic.

Anyway razer is good at one thing, making mice.  They should learn to stick to that smile.gif.

Properly setup stereo is much better than many people realize, but it still can't locate sound from behind you.

Ironically most 5.1 setups aren't set up right anyway so that negates all benefit of the extra speakers.  Most of the time the rear speakers aren't behind you anyway.

To beat a dead horse, people don't like big speakers.  Tiny speakers and a so called sub are much more attractive to the average person.  Even though the 'sub' is really a midbass in a tiny bandpass enclosure *facepalm*.  Thus the reason why bose is still in existence.  People want to believe amazing sound can be contained in a convenient small portable bite-sized package.

Big knock here is that they're impossible to get your hands on. the 3.5mm jacks are for a 7 channel surround sound card n00bs! XD

You're only living in a stereo world! It makes a huge difference when you're gaming for separate ranges from different directions to be achieved.

The subs are 40mm, fronts are 30mm and surrounds are 20mm. True Audiophiles are few and far between in the PC gaming world, but as a musician I can tell you this is a giant leap in the right direction. IF YOU CAN GET A PAIR OF THESE...

They look pretty damn cool with that transparent backing. I'll give them that.
