So bored with with what I got...

Am always looking for dark lyrics and beats, some electronic influences would be nice but am open to anything interesting.

Pls, no Drake, LiL Wayne, Kanye, Jay-Z or any other sold out commercial hip-hop.

Artists that i listen to alot:

Can Ox

Jedi Mind Tricks

MF Doom

Company Flow

Aesop Rock

And really anything/everything Wu related.

Hmmm...SOS doesnt sound like what I am looking for.

Vitro is breakbeats and not hip hop...

The only Negative Format I could find was techno...am I missing something here?

Try Atmosphere, Blue Scholars, Grieves, Evidence, and Bambu.

Little Brother, The Listening and The Minstrel Show (I cannot recommend them highly enough.)

OutKast, ATLiens (Nothing wrong with going back to the classics.)

Gang Starr, Moment of Truth (Likewise.)

Atmosphere, Lucy Ford and Overcast EP (Brilliant.)

Kendrick Lamar, Section.80  (He's new and associated with Drake, but don't hold that against him.)

Unknown Prophets is pretty slick if you listen to underground music.

Give Why?'s album Alopecia a listen. Also try For Hero: For Fool by Subtle.

Have you ever heard of The Roots?

I wouldnt consider any of these "dark" per se and certainly dont have any electronic influences...

JohnKim=Unknown Prophets sounds interesting...will be picking that one up.

Has Def JUx released anything interestig over the last couple of years? El-P seems to always have the flavor that im looking for. I wish Can OX would make another album already...
