@HAMS- I tried your eartip mod on a few pairs of my iems I never really liked. Some did not improve, but I had a pair of Panasonic hje270 that were $9 that now sound a lot like the 8320's after this mod. They were always too congested/ muffled sounding but backing them away with longer nozzles cleared them up a lot, made them more balanced sounding, and even seemed to increase soundstage a little. Thanks for sharing this cool idea

Thanks, for monoprice mod I use smaller size tips than my previous tips because it can't insert deeper and no good isolation at all, with smaller tips it can go deeper, now I like this mod tips more than my previous tips which I thought was good sealed.

for tips: comply T-400 vs meelectronic double flange?

I can get fit easly with standart single flange tips and they are comfortable without any mods.
But anyway awei es800m is better value- its easy to buy it, and they are lot smaller. Sq is about same only es800 has leaps more bass.

all i have to say is,,, i am truly amazed ... love these IEM's even more using the cheap double flanged tips from buycoins.com... i have them pulled down on the tube... not a perfect seal but i love them still

I am wondering if they tuned the sound to be a little different on these black pair. Anyone want to find out?

Purty!  Ordering a Pair (or two, or three) right now!

Edit:  I mean ordering them when they are in stock.  wink.gif

since it comes packaged in a box and not a ziploc baggie,, i wonder if additional tips will come with it...

def gonna get a pair of black edition..

I would hope they have tips, otherwise you are paying a dollar more just for a box and lack of chrome paint, which I think finishes off the mini hairdryer look better... :)

It doesn't look like it, they'd probably show pics of tips if they were included.

Yup. Spending more on tips then IEMs, though. LOL.
