Sydney dwellers are antisocial folk. You should know that by now! :P

I was hoping that he would notice my PSB M4U2 and would be interested in talking some headphones... but he ignored my attempts at making eye contact tongue.gif

For those of us in NSW, I believe a special time has come.

Thankfully, thanks to mindsic.com a new demo store has opened in Chatswood NSW.

Here, you can demo many high-end headphones and IEM, like K3003, SE846, IE800, just to name a few. This is great news considering every demo store up until now was located in Melbourne.

I for one will be going there to specially demo K3003 and SE846 soon. Whilst I can borrow them for home audition, I really don't like asking members with such a high-value product. The store for this alone has been long awaited, at least for me.

Here is their facebook page; https://www.facebook.com/minidiscaustralia

You can find the store location and information there.

That store has been there for a while now, hasn't it?

Wing at minidisc is fantastic.

Good range of headphones and a few odds and ends to audition.

As well as calling them you can see on their website if the headphones you are looking for are there to demo.

Very good pricing too.

No pressure to buy at all and I have spent a lot of timing auditioning stuff there with absolutely no feeling of pressure to hurry up or that I overstayed my welcome (I probably did - but that's why I go back)

In last 6 months I've bought a fiio x5 and a pair of hd800s. I couldn't be happier with the service and info Wing gives. And he won't spin BS when talking about headphones.

a_recording did a nice little video where he talks to Wing at minidisc

It's a small and cozy shop and the only one of it's king in Sydney as far as I know of

It's true that living in Melbourne have its upside considering we have shops with demo everywhere. But it seem Sydney will have the same since A2A about to expand (or already?) to Newtown.

Good times ahead for Sydney headfier, I guess..

But bad times for wallet though :-)

Just saw this recently, should be good for demoing gear - maybe not so good for wallet as you say.

Would be ideal if they get the big Schiit's in store so I can determine if I need them...  Need to try and figure what the R2R hype is about.
