Sure is! Me too, It'll be good to have a local store, I can just pop in and audition a large range of equipment!

Yes, it's already been emptied by another member with some connivance by another member who talked me into going down a headphone path. Not much in the wallet to start with. Now I need to get myself down to Addicted to Audio and sort out an amp.

The road never ends my friend.

I suppose I should post my system.

I run an all-digital Meridian system in my hifi room, which in my new house is a bit near my neighbours' kiddies bedrooms, and later Friday night listening is my prime chillout time. Hence the headphones.

My main music source is a Meridian Sooloos (their digital media system), and I am running balanced analogues from my Meridian DAC into my yet to be purchased (balanced) amp. Headphones are Sennheiser HD800s recabled with Whiplash balanced cables.

Do you enjoy your HD800's out of your system?

Yeh it was 41'C here in Melb yesterday, I can't imagine what my room would've been like if I had turned on a few of my amp's.

Wow... i finally stumbled upon this thread (hi all) and now some awesome news like a nice place to audition gear could be coming to Sydney.  My wallet is hating the idea of that already!

Problem is though, when it's really hot like this, all the fan is doing is blowing hot air onto the tubes
