I see some extremely funny things on the Internet, some of them stick with me long term.

But Head-fi is a relatively serious place most of the time.

ALO CDM going cheap at minidisc at chatswood leading into Christmas. Almost half price at $1299. Limited stock i believe.

I had a listen yesterday. Fantastic price. If i didnt have tubes at home i would have bought one at that price. Instead I'm mulling it over

Really hot/humid here in Sydney the last few days. With no air conditioning my rooms sitting around 25c - 26c. Go away steamy crappy weather, bring on the cold.

Hi all,

I have just popped my Elemental Watson Hybrid Tube amp and my Meridian Explorer2 up for sale.

I have recently acquired an iDSD and what perfect timing as this morning my workplace tapped me on the shoulder and informed me they are not happy with the Watson sitting on my desk and well the Explorer2 does not have the juice alone to bring the Ether to life.

I am looking at $200 for the Watson (thats only 5c per mW of power this thing produces at 32ohm) and $250 for the Explorer2.

They sound great independently and particularly nice together.

I would love to do a local sale.  Call me old fashioned but posting tubes through Auspost makes me nervous, but happy to try.  Might just fill the amp with no more gaps??? Maybe not.

Thanks for reading.

Scott
