Can wind damage headphones?

As the title mentions, can the wind damage open headphones? I have a pair of Sennheiser HD650's and I'm worried about this one time I used them outside in extremely strong blowing wind. By strong, I mean the kind of wind that makes trees shake and move...the kind that almost blows you away.

The HD650 drivers are exposed through the grill and I'm just wondering if that wind could have damaged the drivers while they are on playing music? I was out there against that wind for almost an hour.

Not really, probably your headphones might get a bit dirty but I'm sure the filters will take care of that.

Alright, that's good to know, thank you. I also have one more question, are the drivers in headphones strong enough to withstand any kind of air/wind pressure? I mean when the drivers are in use playing music so they are moving. My fear is that while the drivers are moving, the wind/air will counter against its movement and cause it to fall out of place.

I highly doubt it, unless you're in a tornado.

Alright, thanks for the info. Glad to know, hopefully, I never get stuck in a tornado with my headphones on.
