ATH W1000X with L3000 pads, mint with box from AT authorized reseller
Will Ship To: Anywhere
I've had these for about half a year, and they've got roughly 200 hours on them. I find I listen to them very little now that my job has shifted to a space with speakers in it, and I'm looking to either pick up an RS1i to compliment said speakers or get more speaker gear outright.
I will consider RS1 related trades (and other interesting Grado offerings).
These are absolutely mint from a beautiful cross-section of wood. I picked them from several pairs in J&R in NYC (an official seller of AT headphones), and they were by far the finest example I've seen. They are in their packaging, which is also mint though rather un-astonishing for such high end and well made phones (it's black cardboard).
As an awesome bonus, these include a relatively new pair of L3000 pads! Sure, you get the old vinyl ones... but you won't want to use them after your noggin is gently cradled by the soft lamb-skin excellence that is these $99 ear-pillows. These took a while to get from Japan; I dare say this may be the only time you'll be able to get them included with a W1000X. Anyone else you ask will slap you for your audacity, and call your parents and inform them of what a naughty person you've become.
And, hey, what the heck... what if I throw a Grado 1/4" to 1/8" connector in too? You'll probably want it, as these sound great with portable devices as well.
I'm most happy to sell these locally in NYC; I work in Midtown (my office is essentially connected to Grand Central) but I've got no issue with shipping them elsewhere in the USA. Contact me if you want them to go elsewhere: I don't mind selling them outside of the USA but I simply won't mark them as a "gift" to avoid import taxes... so please don't ask.
Note: In the images, you'll see a comparison between the stock W1000X vinyl pads (which you get) and the L3000 pads (which you also get and are installed on the phones currently). The L3000 pad is on the left in this image.
