Sennheiser HD380 Pro — I hate the coiled cable!

I have no idea where to put this topic, so move it if it has to be moved.

I recently bought myself a pair of Sennheiser HD380 Pro's and they're really good.

Except for when you use them outdoors. Then the coiled cable becomes too much. It's so bulky!

And yes, I know they weren't really designed for that, but for professionals creating music. Still, I want to use them outside.

The cable can be replaced (by a cable that is as long). I'm wondering if anyone has any tips on where to find a replacement cable for the HD380's that's not, say, 3m's long...?

Thanks.

The 595's cable works with them. (thats what i've heard)  If you want to make it shorter, you have to DIY.

I can't seem to find a cable for the 595´s online. Got time for some linking? ;)

I can't stand the coiled cable on my Sony MDR-V6 headphones. I'm going to try to trade them for something, if no one bites, i'm going to drastic measures.
