HD448 mods?

Thread Starter

Hey guys,

I love my 448's. They are my usual go-to for when I'm on the move because of their decent output and their cheapness. (If they get crushed in my backback by accident I wont cry myself to sleep) As I have seen noted, and noted myself, the seal leaves quite a bit to be desired. When you apply slight pressure while wearing them the bass becomes so much more lively and responsive. I was wondering if anyone came out with some sort of mod to these cans that can accomplish that other than a rubber band?

Thanks!

Take a look at this:

They should work with your 448's.

There's a thread abt it on rockgrotto too.

One downside to modding them is that the bass gets boomy, good for some genres, is horrible with others.

I won't do it if I were you.
