Fischer Audio Eterna durability?

Well I'm probably going to get some Fischer Eternas so I'm just wondering about LONG TERM durability as it needs to be reasonably durable, especially cable and connection wise!

 

While I'm at it, anyone want to sway me away from it to something else? :P I'm looking for a bassy IEM primarily for some hardstyle + rock (hard rock, metal, punk, etc.))

I've had them for over a year now. Both driver strain reliefs came loose, but nothing you can't fix without a dab of superglue.

+1 on the strain reliefs coming loose (after biking with them for a looooong time), but they are sturdy nevertheless and I don't think they'll be breaking anytime soon.  Again, superglue the strains and you're all set.

+3 to me as well. I did not superglue though. And after some time one of the drivers gave up. Had them for maybe 6months.

+4 Hahaha! I used superglue as well and cleaned off the excess with acetone.

+5 used superglue but one of the monitors is losing volume compared to the other monitor creating volume imbalance. It's really a shame. I wanted to stay with these headphones forever but I guess I might go for the Sony MDR EX-600. Headphones can never be perfect.
