Laptop->DT150s

Hi folks

I'm looking for a USB DAC / head amp to place between my laptop and my Beyer Dynamic DT150s (250 Ohm, I think). I was looking at the NuForce uDAC2, but having read a couple of posts on here, I can see it will be of little use to me. I don't just need to listen to music off my laptop, but 24/96 flac files, many of which will have a volume level quite a bit below the normal "CD" sound levels. Mainly live recordings.

Can anyone suggest a suitable 24/96 capable USB DAC / head amp that has more headroom than the uDAC2 apparently has? I'd like to keep costs down, but will review any suggestions.

Thanks for any advice.

If you are on a tight budget, check the Hi-Fi Man EF2A. (tube)

Thanks for the advice, but it's DAC is only 16/44.1. I need something with 24/96 and enough headroom to play relatively low volume recordings at a decent level through my DT150s (250ohm).

As far as budget goes, I was considering £100-£150 (I guess around $160-$230).
