Audio Technica ATH-M50 or Shure SRH840 or Sennheiser HD 25-1 II?

I listen to Dubstep, Electronic, Indie, Rock, Techno, Drum and Bass, Dance, House, and sometimes some hiphop/rap.

 

Usually I listen to drum and bass to that what I want the headphone to be designed for.

 

They will be mainly used at home where it will be driven by an amp, however I would Ideally like a set of cans that can be driven by an Ipod when im on the move. They headphones have to be closed / not a lot of sound leakage from when im on the move. Ideally good at noise isolation aswell.

 

 

Which of these would be most suited to me? (or if you have another pair to suggest, please do)

 

Audio Technica ATH-M50

Shure SRH840

Sennheiser HD 25-1 II?

My vote would be for the ATH-M50s.  I am still shaking my head at how good they were in NYC last week.

Try them each out for yourself to see which ones you prefer.  You can read other people's impressions all day long but when it comes down to which one sounds better to YOU, no one else will be able to answer that question.
